Sheila Stewart's 25th Anniversary Celebration at Newton White Mansion


On Thursday, July 25, 2013, Coalition members attended Radio personality Sheila Stewart's 25th Anniversary Celebration at Newton White Mansion.



Shelia Stewart-Russell, AKA DC's Mrs. Community, is an award winning media conglomerate whose career as a Radio, TV, and Print Media Personality spans 25 years. She has been the Director of News Programming for Radio One-DC Stations (93.9) WKYS-FM, (102.3) WMMJ-FM, (104.1) WPRS-FM, (1450) WOL-AM, WYCB-AM and the Syndicated Russ Parr Morning Show heard in (40) U.S. cities. She has worked as a Reporter/Anchor for CBS Affiliate WBTV News 3; Guest Appearances on TV Networks NBC, ABC, Fox News; News Director for CBS Radio WPEG-FM in Charlotte, NC; Correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks; ABC Radio New Networks; and as a News Anchor for Syndication One Radio News Networks; The Rev. Al Sharpton Show; The Dr. Michael Eric Dyson Show and The Warren Ballentine Show. She has also worked as an adjunct Professor at Johnson C. Smith University and as an Instructor at the Chatty School of Communications.
